A New Way of Collaborating

Due to the complexity of child poverty within the context of siloed resources, historical disparity, and vested interests, coordination across stakeholders is more difficult and necessary than ever. CPAL is built on the premise that the moral and economic imperative to reduce child poverty can incite new levels of collaboration and maximize the impact potential of our shared resources through the following theory of change:

Bringing Leadership and Resources Together

CPAL_Ecosystem.png

As an outgrowth of the high profile GrowSouth initiative, a first-of-its-kind council comprised of chief executives from our local systems-level public agencies began meeting to elevate child poverty as a common agenda requiring collective action. With CPAL as the convener, this unique collection of cross-agency leadership will continue meeting quarterly, along with select advisory organizations and community members, to align resources and activate strategies that can achieve impact at scale.
